EVENT MATERIALS AND PROMOTIONAL ITEMS

“Image and perception help drive value; without an image there is no perception.” – Scott Davis, Brand Asset Management.

The methods you use to promote your event will depend on its purpose, the likely audience, the best ways to reach that audience, and your promotional resources. What is the best way to communicate information about your event to your primary audience? How do members of this group receive information? Can you reach them by e-mail? In what location (physical or virtual) would many members of this audience be likely to see your materials?

Part of your brand strategy should also include promotional items. There are thousands of potential items you can get your logo printing on, but the item must be carefully selected so, it to, reflects your brand. For example, if you are a company who promotes sustainability as part of its brand, then recycled materials, vegetable-based inks and use of sustainable materials should always be used and promoted as such.
